Hmm. Methinks I have a craving.

...and it is.. Pita Pit. Om nom nom. The ol' college standby. A delicious meal in a good off campus locale for around 6 bucks. Sooo good. I am craving a chicken souvlaki pita like crizazy. Unfortch, these awesome little franchises are a rarity 'round yonder. There is one, however, in Center City. Hmmm.. there must be something I need from Sansom street so that I can stop by and get a pita. Oh screw it, is there really an excuse needed? I will get myself a pita by this time next week. Mark. my. words. I will keep you updated on the status.
In other news, Bob arrived home yesterday! I am so glad to have his cute little butt home. I missed him a lot. He was pretty wiped out yesterday (he was up for almost 24 hours!) but today he is doing better. He brought home a huge assortment of little tea cookies (you seriously cannot get anything similar in the US), and several varieties of chocolate. Ah, a man after my heart. I just love having a nice cup of tea with a few little cookies. So much better than eating a giant bowl of ice cream or something similar.
The baby furniture store called Bob's cell twice in a row while he was in Germany. Thinking that it might be an emergency, Bob picked up, despite the fact that he was running through a plaza after a co-worker who had his passport in their car. He asked them to give me a call, but they were rude to him and said that he could just tell me to call, and hung up (nice, right? especially since we dropped some pretty significant cash with them). UGH. I am totally dreading whatever it was that they were calling about. I just called last week and the woman pretty much laughed at me when I asked for an update on the delivery status. We ordered two months ago and she made it very clear that they usually don't even hear anything from Munire for 3 months. Therefore, I am not thinking that they are calling to say "everything's in! YAY!". I'm thinking it's going to be more along the lines of "it's going to be a 30 year wait for your crib". I am going to call them first thing in the morning and find out what is up. I am not going to lie, I am totally stressin'. I've already told Bob that if that is the case, we are going for an in-stock option from Land of Nod or something. I am NOT dealing with waiting for furniture to be delivered again. I am sick of looking at an empty room. If they try to tell me that I have to pick out something new from their store instead of getting a refund, they should expect an angry pregnant woman walking in there doing Double Dragon style kicks. Enjoy that mental picture.
I'll let you know tomorrow if this was all just unnecessary melodramz and everything is ready to be delivered.
