Mama to-do list in progress today:
-Pediatrician meet and greets- 2 messages have been left. I'm scheduling one appointment with a friend's pediatrician and another with the pedi my doc recommends. I'm going to go out on a limb and schedule a third with another random practice I found on googly moogly. I hope these people call me back so I can get this show on the road ASAP. I am totally stressing about this issue, and I want to get it OFF my to-do list.
-Newborn photographer- Exchanged some e-mails with the fave photog I found on the web. In an exciting development, she does have a recently completed studio where she prefers to do newborn photo shoots. Yay. I really didn't want the shoot at my house, as it is a rental and we have no sentimental attachment to it. Also, the lighting is lame. Anyway, I am super pumped that by tomorrow, I should be all booked on this. Here is her blog link- sort by Newborns and prepare for a squee fest. http://www.jenniferbretonphotography.com/blog/
...Can I also just add that having a child has sooo many hidden costs? Up until I started researching a few weeks ago I had NO idea that I should be prepared to spend ~$1k for newborn photos. Holy Bojangles. Totally worth it, but I think it's time to re-do the family budget!
-Boob pump. Thank the lord I get Medelas for about 50% through my company. I need to bite the bullet and make the PISA vs. Freestyle decision I've been debating for months.

Your friend's pedi rocks . . . I hope you like her too!! Love the photographer! Also the freestyle has been a blessing that I definitely reccomend.
Wow $1K for photos? Is that for one shoot? Do you get prints with that. Phew, that is pricey! Totally worth it though if it is someone you love and it's obviously a once in a lifetime opportunity!! GL with the meet and greets!!
Mrs. A- Oh yes, that would include a (general) idea of print costs. Believe it or not, her prices are very in-line with pretty much everyone around here, even a tiny bit cheaper in some cases!
