I still exist.

So sorry I've failed at blogging the last few days. I have become so exhausted and uncomfortable! This baby is so far up in my ribs that I just can't get comfy, and the days seem soo long.
We did a ton of shopping, nursery prepping, closet cleaning, etc. this weekend. We are currently in that stage where things look worse before they look better. I hate that stage. Regardless, I am so tired that as much as I would like to just zip around the house and get everything done in a few power hours, my body just won't let me.
Overall, I'd say the nursery is 85% of the way there. I loove the furniture, and the bedding/crib/mobile looks so cute. Sometimes I look at other people's painted nurseries and get jealous, but I know there is no sense in painting a room in a house we will move out of so soon. Regardless, we've put a lot of love into her room, and that makes me happy. We did have a slight curtain debacle. I won't get into it, but it involved two trips to Pottery Barn Kids because the lights went out in the mall on trip #1, a sobfest over a shade of pink, Bob digging through the trash for the packaging (he's a saint), and finally a trip to Target for some plain ol' white curtains that will not make a statement but will just plain blend in. Fine.
I wanted more than anything to make pumpkin bread yesterday. Well, turns out, canned pumpkin is pretty much impossible to find this year. I checked with two grocery stores yesterday and they were both yet to receive any. I finally called and found a store tonight that had some. I rushed there, and there were only TWO cans left on the shelf. I snatched them up, eager to head home and throw a couple bread pans in the oven. Of course, once I'm home and we've eaten dinner, pans already greased for the bread, I realize that I only have two cups of sugar vs. the requisite three. Ugh. Tomorrow it is.

Apparently there was a really bad pumpkin crop this year. The place I order my American food from has a big disclaimer up apologizing for not having any in stock right now.
