Long day.

Here's a sum:

1. Attended Governor's conference for women today.

a) Freaked out about swine flu as a result of being in close proximity to 4000 people.
b) Made huge mistake by attending a financial planning break-out session right before a lunch with the uber annoying, self-righteous, guilt-inducing Suze Orman as keynote speaker. Blood pressure rises after two hours straight of personal finance chat. (More to come on Suze tomorrow)
c) Someone took cake from a pregnant woman. From in front of her place setting. Without asking first. This happened while said pregnant woman was eyeing the cake lovingly because the entire lunch consisted of a cup of greens, some peas, carrots and a cold chicken breast. Then, said pregnant person was forced to be the stereotypical pregnant person and ask everyone at the table if they were going to eat their cake. Awesome.
d) Judge Hatchett was there too. I love her. She is super cute in person, and a great speaker. She was wearing a fiery red suit. Holla!
e) Two comments were made by speakers about Gov Rendell being sexy. One involved a thong. Ugh.

2. I saw a guy at Market-East station wearing a fedora, a long wool coat (it was 67 degrees out today, come on), wing-tipped shoes, and a stubby cigar hanging out of his mouth. Sweet.

3. Boob pump arrived on doorstep. I went with the Freestyle in the end. It was $210 for the freestyle and $165 for the Pump in Style advanced. I figured that I'd spend the difference on batteries if I went with the PISA, since the Freestyle uses A/C power.

4. Recieved exciting phone call in the car on the drive to the Phillies game.. OUR FURNITURE IS IN!!! WOOOOO!! I'll call to schedule delivery tomorrow. Soo happy.

5. Went to Phillies game. Freaked out again about swine flu as a result of being in such close proximity to 45,000 people.
a) Realized that wearing Bob's t-shirt is a lot more comfortable than my own, these days
b) Rally towels are back, sweet.
c) I ate my first whole pint of ice cream as a pregnant woman.
d) I finally spotted the loaded Nachos that I knew I saw weeks ago. Bob thought it was a mirage and didn't believe me. Well, I tracked them down and proceeded to do a few "I told you so's. I had already eaten, but I know what I'm having next time! (Too bad I had a confirmed sighting at our second to last season ticket game- boo!!)
e) Phils win!
