They grow up so fast.

Today, as Kaia hung out on her playmat, and I worked on my crunches along side her, I wondered when she would start grabbing for her toys. She has loved to bat at her friends Mr. Elephant and Mr. Parrot for weeks now, but she has not yet wrapped her hand around a toy and lifted or pulled. Not more than two minutes later, I look over to see this:
Yep. Some little lady gripping and lifting her toy up and down ever so slightly. Just one small step today, but it is crazy to know that this is the start of the development of her little itty bitty motor skills. Watching an infant develop right in front of your eyes is probably one of the coolest things I've ever experienced.
