And once upon a time, I failed at blogging.

It's been a hectic month.
We had Kaia's baptism a month ago.
The next weekend, we spent Saturday and Sunday looking for our first home. That following Monday morning, we put in an offer on one of these houses. It was accepted.
The weekend after that, we spent Saturday doing the home inspection. It did not go so well. $8k in repairs needed for a shifting front porch. A furnace that could go at any minute. Pipes that could back up and instantly cost us thousands of dollars. .. We spent Sunday signing papers to cancel the contract, and being depressed over blowing $700 on an inspection for a home that would never be ours.
Two weekends ago, we went back out house hunting. We pounced on a house in a great neighborhood. We were the first to see it, & the early bird got the worm. We are now under contract on a sweet little Main Line twin. It has a nice yard, and is on a friendly cul-de-sac full of young familes. It's in a highly walkable little town complete with sidewalks, bakeries, and a yoga studio. We settle on April 30.
Last weekend, we were finally going to relax and do nothing. After a whilwhind month, our wee little house had become quite a mess. I spent the entire day cleaning. As soon as I sat down to relax, the power went out, and stayed out. We spent Saturday night at Bob's Mom's house, complete with barking dogs, a baby that wouldn't sleep, and a tiny little twin bed for my 6'4" husband and I.
Life has gotten in the way of blogging.
So, if I can summarize the last few weeks: Kaia is 4 months old as of 2 weeks ago. 14 lbs 15 oz, 25 3/4 inches long (75-90th percentile). 4 month wakeful in full affect. Tummy sleeping is the new black. Harold needs a haircut. BAD. I bought a Dyson. It's awesome. I got down to my pre-pregnancy weight as of last week. I am now 1 pound above that weight. :/. I am in love with cloth diapers- sometimes I close my eyes and see Bububebes and Goodmamas. However, these are far and away my new favorite. We go up to Buffalo for Easter in two weeks. I go back to work in three.
And tomorrow I give my point of view on Mommy Bloggers. See ya then.
